Guidelines and obligations for creating and managing fundraising campaigns on AmalQ.

Campaign Creator Agreement
These Campaign Terms govern the creation, management, and completion of charitable campaigns on AmalQ. By creating a campaign, you enter into a binding agreement with AmalQ and commit to upholding the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and Islamic ethical conduct.
Eligibility Requirements
To create a campaign on AmalQ, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Age & Legal Capacity
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements in your jurisdiction.
Identity Verification
You must complete our identity verification process, including providing valid government-issued identification and proof of address.
Valid Bank Account
You must have a valid bank account in your name or organization name for fund disbursement. All accounts are verified before funds are released.
Islamic Alignment
Your campaign must serve a legitimate Islamic charitable purpose and align with the principles outlined in our Islamic Compliance guidelines.
Campaign Approval Process
Every campaign undergoes a multi-stage review process to ensure quality, legitimacy, and Islamic compliance before being published.
Campaign Submission
Submit your campaign with complete details including purpose, goals, budget breakdown, timeline, beneficiary information, and supporting documentation.
Initial Review
Our team reviews campaigns for completeness, clarity, and basic compliance within 2 to 3 business days.
Islamic Scholar Review
Qualified campaigns are reviewed by our Islamic Scholars Council for alignment with Islamic values and principles.
Revision Requests
If changes are needed, you will receive specific feedback and a timeframe to submit revisions. Campaigns may be resubmitted up to 3 times.
Final Approval
Once approved, your campaign will be published and visible to donors. You will receive a notification with your campaign URL.
Campaign Creator Obligations
As a campaign creator, you accept the following obligations throughout the lifecycle of your campaign:
Truthful Representation
All campaign information, including descriptions, images, and financial details, must be accurate, honest, and not misleading in any way.
Fund Management
Donated funds must be used exclusively for the stated campaign purpose. Misuse of funds constitutes a breach of trust (Khiyanah) and may result in legal action.
Regular Updates
Provide progress updates at least once every 14 days while the campaign is active. Share photos, receipts, and status reports to maintain donor confidence.
Record Keeping
Maintain detailed records of all expenditures, receipts, and communications. These records must be available for audit upon request.
Responsive Communication
Respond to donor inquiries and platform communications within 48 hours. Unresponsive campaigns may be flagged or suspended.
Ongoing Compliance
Maintain compliance with these terms, our Terms of Service, Islamic Compliance guidelines, and all applicable laws throughout the campaign duration.
Fund Disbursement
Donated funds are held in escrow by AmalQ and released according to our disbursement schedule and verification requirements.
Escrow Protection
All donations are held in a secure escrow account until disbursement conditions are met. This protects both donors and campaign creators.
Milestone-Based Release
For large campaigns, funds may be released in stages tied to documented milestones and progress verification.
Disbursement Verification
Before each disbursement, campaign creators must provide documentation confirming fund usage aligns with the campaign purpose.
Processing Timeline
Fund disbursements are processed within 5 to 7 business days after verification is complete. Bank processing times may add 2 to 3 additional days.
Platform Fees
A transparent platform fee is deducted from each disbursement. The fee structure is disclosed during campaign creation and on every donation receipt.
Content & Intellectual Property
Campaign content is subject to the following intellectual property terms:
Creator Ownership
You retain ownership of all original content (text, images, videos) you submit for your campaign.
Platform License
By creating a campaign, you grant AmalQ a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, promote, and distribute your campaign content across our platform and marketing channels.
Third-Party Content
You must have the right to use any third-party content included in your campaign. AmalQ is not liable for copyright infringement by campaign creators.
Content Removal
Upon campaign completion or termination, your content remains accessible for transparency and record-keeping purposes. You may request removal of specific personal images.
Campaign Modifications
Changes to active campaigns are subject to the following rules to protect donor trust and transparency:
Minor Updates
Corrections, progress updates, and clarifications can be made at any time without re-approval.
Major Modifications
Changes to campaign goals, fund usage, beneficiaries, or timeline require platform review and may require donor notification.
Goal Adjustments
Funding goal increases require re-approval. Goal decreases are permitted but must be communicated to existing donors.
Campaign Extensions
Campaign duration extensions must be requested before the original end date and are subject to review.
Campaign Completion & Termination
Campaign completion and termination are governed by the following terms:
Successful Completion
Upon reaching your goal and completing the project, submit a final report documenting outcomes, fund usage, and beneficiary impact.
Early Termination by Creator
You may terminate your campaign at any time. Undisbursed funds will be refunded to donors. Any disbursed funds must be accounted for.
Platform Termination
AmalQ reserves the right to terminate campaigns that violate these terms, fail to provide updates, or are found to be non-compliant with Islamic principles.
Failed Campaigns
If a campaign does not reach its goal and uses an all-or-nothing model, all funds are returned to donors. For flexible campaigns, collected funds are disbursed for the stated purpose.
Surplus Funds
Funds exceeding the campaign goal may be used for closely related charitable purposes with donor notification, or returned to donors upon request.
Liability & Indemnification
Campaign creators are responsible for their campaigns and agree to the following liability terms:
Creator Liability
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of campaign information, proper use of funds, and compliance with all applicable laws.
Platform Role
AmalQ provides the platform infrastructure and verification services. We do not guarantee campaign outcomes or the actions of campaign creators.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify AmalQ against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your campaign, including misrepresentation or misuse of funds.
